Established in 1991, The Parenting Place provided programs which advocated for the safety and prevention of child abuse for all children in Pickens County. Our programming and staffing has fluctuated over the years, but our mission has remained the same.

Today, we have an amazing staff of seventeen committed to building strong families. Our team provides strengths-based, culturally-competent, trauma-informed, multi-generational, wraparound services to address the whole family unit.

Our goal is to invest in children and families early and often to build strong, stable foundations with access to needed resources.
